Applingo is a language learning app designed to help learners practise real-life conversations in languages such as Spanish, Italian, French, and German.

• Practice content: text, speech, pronunciation attempts, role-play responses, or messages you submit while using speaking, avatar, or AI conversation features.

• Device and usage data: such as device type, operating system, app version, diagnostics, crash logs, performance data, approximate region, and interaction events.
• Purchase information: purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We may receive limited purchase status information needed to unlock paid features.

• personalise the app experience and remember your learning progress;
• process pronunciation, speech, and conversation practice features;
• maintain, debug, secure, and improve Applingo;

4. AI, speech, and language practice features

Applingo may include AI conversation, avatar, speech recognition, pronunciation, or translation-related features. When you use these features, your text or audio input may be processed to generate responses, assess pronunciation, or provide learning feedback.

Do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential information, or information about other people during practice conversations unless you are comfortable with it being processed for the learning feature you are using.

5. Third-party services

We may use trusted third-party providers to operate Applingo, including services for hosting, analytics, crash reporting, authentication, payments, speech processing, AI features, notifications, and customer support.

These providers may process information on our behalf only for the purposes of providing their services to Applingo, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
